Here in southern California we're having "tropical" rainstorms, one after another, from an offshore flow coming from the southwest... we've already had a West Nile Virus death and it's only February... the folks at NASA, moreover, are projecting 2005 to be the hottest year on record....
No news on Iraq... an election keeps the PR machine running while everything else about the US occupation stays the same...
Economy still fragile, oursourcing still the same, dollar still steadily weakening
Politics still the same, Democrats still sold out, "democracy" still an excuse for warfare of the most brutal and dirty sort, waged for the sake of the profit motive...
Nothing changes because we don't organize. We're the only wild card in the deck, and we don't play ourselves.
